SJEDS is divided into a lower and upper school. Two pre-kindergarten and three kindergarten classes comprise the Early Learning Center (ELC). Three first grade classes and three second grade classes complete the Lower School. The upper school includes third through sixth grades. Administrators are available to assist teachers, parents, and students with whatever needs arise.
Parents should communicate directly with their child's teacher should a question or concern arise. If needed, the issue can then be directed to the Assistant Head of School. The Head of School should be contacted about classroom issues only after the teacher and Assistant Head of School have had an opportunity to address the situation.
The Head of School at SJEDS works with the entire school community to ensure that the school is consistently meeting educational goals, is being true to its mission and is providing a safe Christian environment. |
