Off to China

Hi everyone back in Jacksonville. We are sitting somewhere in the International Airport of Newark, NJ. Mrs. St-Cyr is eating her breakfast in front of me, while I am writing our first blog entry.

Both of us got up very early this morning around 3:30 am in order to make our flight which left at 6:15 am in Jacksonville. Our first travel incident happened when going through the security check. They took our tooth pastes and water bottles away from us and through them in the trash can. Can you believe that? What are we going to do? I guess we need to buy new tooth paste when we get to Hong Kong. Maybe we will even get some travel tooth paste from the airline, once we are on the next plane.

Around 8:30 am our plane landed in Newark. The weather is pretty much the same as in Jacksonville, except a lot colder. It is cloudy and rainy. We did see the sun this morning coming up, while we were flying above the clouds.  I wonder if we will see another sunrise before we get to Hong Kong.

We will have to wait almost six more hours before we continue our travels.
