Hong Kong Currency

When we arrived last night in Hong Kong, the first thing we needed to do before we even left the airport was to exchange our American Dollars to the local money currency. In Hong Kong people use the Hong Kong Dollar. Can you see the majestic lion that is on the paper bills? They are all different colors and sizes. Even the coins all look different. Some are bigger, some are smaller and some have a curvy edge to them.

5th & 6th Graders:

Can you figure out how much the Hong Kong Dollar paper money is worth in US Dollars? The conversion rate is 1 HKD = 0.128 US$. You can check your answer by going to Yahoo Currency Conversion.Leave your answers on this blog post.
