Laser Show & Star Ferry
December 2nd, 2006 by stolisano
After seeing an amazing view on Victoria Peak in the afternoon, we wanted to check out the night view from the opposite direction. We took the Star Ferry across Hong Kong Harbor and found a nice small cozy spot among thousands of other people who were ready to watch a Laser Show to music of the Hong Kong Skyline and enjoyed a wonderful hot chocolate from Starbucks.

What a fantastic skyline! In fact, I enjoyed viewing all your photos today (maybe not a couple from the market!). I just wanted you to know you were being remembered in our thoughts and prayers over the weekend. It looks and sounds as though you’re having a grand time. I’m especially interested to hear all that you learn about the international school. Thanks for all the info. Keep safe!
Our class has been talking about an endangered species, the “pink” dolphin. These animals are actually pink in color — ranging from pale pink to hot pink! Most of the few remaining ones live in the waters around Hong Kong, so we are curious to know if you have seen any of these dolphins during your ferry rides. Thank you! Love, Ms. Barnwell’s class
