Mrs. Pickering's class says:
They liked the challenge too but the last few in line didn't get to chisel because James figured out how to take off chuncks at a time. They are still cold...brrrr
Lydia says hello to her mom. :-)

Mrs. Freyer's class,
I am glad that you had such a good time. It was very cold in Xi'An today too and we walked around the Terra-Cotta pits all day. It was amazing to see them in real life, now that Mrs. St-Cyr and I have read so much about them too. We can let you know where we ordered the warriors when we get back.Ok?
Have a great weekend. We are off to Beijing tomorrow.

The terracotta warior challenge was a big hit. It is 30F today but we were all outside the 6th grade classrooms chiseling away anyway. Kids are bundled up in jeans, coats, hats, scarves and gloves trying to stay warm. After the competition everyone got a cup of hot chocolate.

Mrs. Freyer's class says:
The class loved the compitition! Camille says there should be more time to chip away at the clay that covered the warriors. The class wants to know where you bought the warriors? Our class loved it and everyone says it would be awesome to do it at home. Garrett said that it was alot of fun but it was very cold! Mrs. Pickering class came in first, Mrs. Mengers class came in second, and Mrs. Freyers class came in third. We all hope your are having a fun and safe trip in China and we miss you alot!
