This is your 10th letter for the China ABC puzzle:
“J” stands for Jade.
An ornamental stone, Jade is a name applied to two different rocks that are made up of different silicate minerals. During the Stone Age of many cultures, jade was used for axe heads, knives, and weapons. As metal-working technologies became available, jade’s beauty made it valuable for ornaments and decorative objects.

Do you see Jade for sale everywhere in the shops? Is it less expensive there? Where is Jade primarily found in Chian? We had a sixth grade student, Elisabeth, bring in a Jade ring to show to the class. See you soon, Dios te bendiga! N. Inclan
We have seen a lot of Jade offered for sale everywhere. The Jade Buddha were the largest statues we saw in a Temple. We can’t compare prices, since we don’t know the value of Jade in the US.
We will try to ask our guide where Jade is found in China.
