		<description>We didn't hear anything about the military destroying mummies to use the linen, but did hear that at one time ground up mummy was used as a drug and apothecaries carried it. Many mummies were destroyed for this purpose. Amazing, but true.</description>

I remember seeing some kind of documentary about people during a World War 1 or 2 digging up mummies and using thier linen wraps to make ?? clothing for military or to use the linen fibers for something...and apparently thousands?? of mummies from Egypt were destroyed.  Did you see or hear any reference to that to clarify what happened to so many mummies and how Egypt went about their decision to allow this to happen?  Thanks..N. Inclan</description>
